Danny & Jeffie call Taylors, South Carolina their home. Stamascus Knife Works Corporation business office is also located in Taylors. After 25 years of structural engineering work all over the southeast, Danny wants to grow a custom knife business with the help of Ed & Tanya VanHoy. It would be nearly an impossible task without such talent. The knife industry is loaded with craftsmen that create beautiful knives that now belong to customers that are either using them functionally or storing them in a safe place as collectibles. I feel confident and also know for a fact that we will be able to rub shoulders with the best of them and excel over most of them. I know that the whole effort will be in vain unless I make satisfied customers out of those who buy our products. Your satisfaction is my goal as a person and our goal as a company.

Ed & Tanya make the majority of the custom knives in their shop near their home. Ed has been making custom knives for approximately 24 years, and he has become very good in his profession. He once worked as a project engineer in the commercial construction industry; however, his love of making custom knives made him quit that job and follow his dream of making beautiful knives. Ed and Tanya in the midst of making custom knives went to Montgomery Community College for two years to master the art of metal engraving and gold inlay work. They studied under an excellent engraving instructor, and they have applied this art in their custom knifemaking. Tanya makes fine leather sheaths when she is not engraving knives. Their metal engraving expertise is becoming in great demand by other knifemakers and collectors as well. They travel all over the USA and other parts of the world marketing our knives and their engraving talents. They would like very much to meet you personally when they come to your part of the country.
